Preview Your Test

Once you have added your questions you can review and preview them within Your Test.

Open Your Test by clicking on the green screen button in the top right hand corner.

Click on View Template Preview or click on a specific question to preview it.

Click on the left of right arrows to navigate through the test.

The Total Questions and Total Marks are displayed beneath the question list.


Click and drag a question to change the change its position in the test.

Alfie Judgement Level

Click on View Alfie Judgement Level to see if you have enough questions within your test to get an Alfie Judgement Level and a Level at Tier.

If you have an Alfie Judgement Level or Level at Tier, you will have a green tick. If you do not, you will have a red cross and information about the number of questions needed per level.

Test Settings

In order to save Your Test as a Template, you must enter a Template Name. This name will be displayed on the Test Templates screen.

You can also add a Duration and select if you would like Audio, a Calculator or to set the test as Homework (where applicable). These settings can be changed on the Publish Screen.

Save Your Test

Once you have entered the Template Name, click on Save. You will be notified if the save has been successful.

If you change the Template Name and click on Save, you will be asked if you want to Overwrite or Create New. Clicking on Create New will create a completely new entry in your Test Templates.

Quick Publish

You can perform a quick publish within the Create Tests window. Once published you can perform more advanced settings, Test Sharing and Scheduling, via the Manage screen.

Click on Publish. You need to create a Test Title. This is made up of the Test Name and the Publish Name.

The Test Name will automatically populate with the Template Name you entered. Changing the Test Name will NOT change the Template Name.

The Publish Name could be related to a sitting, for example: Summer 2014.


Click Publish Test. You will get a success message and the URL (web address) for your test. Click Close.
