Or you may see a JIT log that starts like the following:

To enable assembly bind failure logging, set the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog] (DWORD) to 1.
There will be three main reasons why you are seeing this error:
1. You will need to update to the latest version of SIMS-Sync (V3.0 or above) from here: http://downloads.alfiecloud.com/SIMS-Sync.zip
IMPORTANT: If you are updating from a SIMS-Sync version prior to V3.0 you need to uninstall, delete the desktop shortcut and all old files from the SIMS-Sync folder in Program Files, before reinstalling the new version. You can find the version number on the Help screen in SIMS-Sync.
If you have updated to V3.0 or above and you are still getting the above error, then all of the old files from the SIMS-Sync folder would not have been removed. Please Follow the above instructions again; Uninstall > Remove all old files > Reinstall.
2. You will need to do a Right Click and run as Administrator.
You can also set SIMS-Sync to run all the time as Administrator. Right click on Launch SIMS-Sync and select Properties. Navigate to the Compatability Tab and tick the Run this program as an administrator box. Click OK to confirm; you may need to supply a Windows Administrator Account.
It can also be due to the AlfieMain.exe file, which is what runs the tasks not having the correct permissions. Please locate the SIMS-Sync installation directory and follow the above procedure for the AlfieMain.exe file contained within.
3. Your sims.ini file is not pointing at the correct location for your SIMS .net installation. You can check this by doing the following:
Locate your SIMS .net shortcut on the desktop. Right click and select Properties:
Navigate to the Shortcut tab and make a note of the Start in Location.
Open a new File Window and Navigate to C:\Windows and locate the sims.ini file
Right click on the file and select Open/Edit.
Ensure the SIMSDotNetLocation matches the Start in Location for the SIMS .net shortcut above.
If these locations do not match, please change the sims.ini file to reflect the SIMS .net shortcut Start in Location.
Important: Please ensure there are no spaces after .net or that there are no "quotation" marks surrounding the directory.
